Heather is an artist, writer, speaker, and self-taught podcaster. For the last 13 years, she has taught countless classes and sessions on communication and leadership, disabilities, mental health, and how to provide accommodation and accessibility solutions for those who need them.
Heather lives with her unevictable mental illness roommates every day, and understands how much of a toll untreated issues, and even the treated ones, can take on the spirit of a person, let alone their body. She is open about her experience with Anxiety, Depression, and cPTSD, as well as her neurodivergence because silence helps no one.
Due to an untreated TBI in 2018, she’s now having to relearn how to live without masking her neurodivergence for the first time in her life - a task that takes patience and self-forgiveness, which she doesn’t have - and the resulting empathy for those who are struggling through things without a manual or instructions is why this podcast exists. None of us have to be alone in what we’re feeling or dealing with, and this podcast is here for it.
Let’s talk stories.
Heather lives, works, and podcasts in the Seattle Metro region with her insanely patient husband, service dog, and auxiliary back-up dog. There’s also a cat, but he’s an ahole usually. She’s available to travel for speaking engagements or consulting throughout the United States and abroad.
